DNA Tours GmbH respects the privacy of visitors to its websites. This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data (“Personal Data”) submitted through this website.

In order to comply with the new EU data protection rules we want to share a few things about our website, the data we collect and how your cruise request is processed.  To begin with, our website is maintained by Wix and our Customer Relation System is InfusionSoft.  When you sign up for a cruise with Dave, your information is given to AmaWaterways LLC in the USA who processes your actual cruise.  DNA Tours, GmbH does NOT process your payment or keep any digital copies of your payment records.  Voices mails and encrypted communications with Ama are deleted after 30 days.

AmaWaterways, Wix and InfusionSoft are all GDPR compliant with descriptions of use on their own websites.  We have done due dilligence to insure as much.  

 

When you sign up for a trip with Dave, any information you provide is used ONLY for the purposes of planning your trip and we do not sell or give your information to anyone for any reason other than your personal travel.  We will never sell your information or share it with advertisers.

Personal data we collect
Through this website, DNA may collect information that can specifically identify you, such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address when you voluntarily submit it to us.

We may, for example, provide Personal Data to agents, contractors or partners for hosting our databases, for data processing services, or to send you information that you requested, but those parties cannot use your Personal Data for their own purposes unrelated to the work they are doing for us

  • to respond to duly authorized information requests of governmental authorities or where required by law

  • to investigate suspected fraudulent activity in connection with the website or violation of another party’s rights

  • in connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of the business of this website to which the information relates, in which case we will require any such buyer to agree to treat personal data in accordance with this privacy policy.

Security

The security of your personal data is very important to us. We have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect. Access to your personal data is granted only to those employees who require it in order to perform their duties. We cannot guarantee, however, that all communications between us or information stored on our servers will be free from unauthorized access by third parties such as hackers. Your use of our services demonstrates your assumption of this risk.  If any breach is ever made, we will notify both you and the appropriate authorities within 72 hours.

Information from children
This website is not directed at children and we have no intention of collecting personal data from young people. If we become aware that personal data from a child under 18 has been collected without the consent of such child’s parent or guardian, we will use all reasonable efforts to delete such information.

The DNA Tours GmbH Group is a global organization. Your personal data may be transferred to one or more DNA affiliated companies or non-affiliated service providers in other countries and used for the purposes described previously.To facilitate our global operations, we may transfer and access Personal Information from around the world, including the United States. This Privacy Policy shall apply even if we transfer Personal Information to other countries.

DNA’s legal entities outside the European Union have entered into intra-company data protection agreements using standard contractual clauses prepared by the European Commission. Moreover, DNA’s U.S. entities have entered into data protection agreements with service providers and other business partners.  These agreements require the contracting parties to respect the confidentiality of your Personal Information and to handle European personal data in accordance with applicable European data protection laws.

By using this website, you consent to the transfer, storage, use and disclosure of your personal data among our affiliated companies and non-affiliated service providers, wherever located. DNA’s service providers are contractually bound to respect the confidentiality of your personal data.
